Hello, I'm Elissa Carpenter, and welcome to my blog. An activity that I like to do in my free time is sewing or any type of arts and crafts related to sewing. I like hobbies where I have to be crafty and think of creative ideas. The creativity and the possibilities are endless with what you can create with just a couple yards of fabric, buttons, stuffing, a zipper, and a sewing matchine. 

Sewing is one of my favotie interests in my free time to do, it lets me be creative with no limits. I turn some simple fabric into something unque or useful. I enjoy the variety of possibbilities of what you can sew togther. The best part of sewing is seeing the final result of project and how it turned out. Sometimes theres trial an error that happens when sewing. Not always your projects will be succesful without any setback. Trial and error is apart of the sewing prosses. You learn from your sewing mistakes and is what makes you a better sewer as you go on in that hobby. 

Along with sewing, I enjoy some other arts and cratfs hobbys. Arts and crafts are a way for me to relax and escape from stress from school and other things that can get overwhelming. They alow me in a way to express myself. Overall, sewing and crafty activities are a interest that I enjoy to do in my freetime as a way to decompress and explore my craft skills.

Entry #2 Which is better, Dutch Bros or Starbucks?

 Coffee shops have become an essential part of many consumers' daily routines.  It is not just a morning routine anymore, but it has become a habit that is visited throughout the day.  The question is, which coffee shop is better? The two contenders that seem to be the most popular are Dutch Bros and Starbucks.  While both serve similar beverages, they do offer a different experience to their consumers.    Starbucks offers either a drive-thru and/or walk-in, sit-down setting. Entry#3: Mint

As the wrapper crinkles, you're blown away by a cool refreshing smell that's pleasing to your senses. The foil crinkles and folds back in uneven edges, catching the light in quick flashes. Inside sits a narrow, pale strip with specks of sparkly blue or green.  It is smooth, clean, almost too perfect resting in its sleeve like it’s been waiting.  I grab the strip out of the silver wrapper. It's delicate, fragile, and can break in half on you at any moment if aggressive with it. No fuss, no mess. You can smell the freshness and for a second it makes your nostrils feel chilly. A second later, it sits on your tongue right before your teeth take control. As you chew on it, the sharp coolness catches your taste buds and gives you immediate sensory satisfaction.    As I continue to chew, the coolness fades and what was once a strip is now a ball of mush.
