Entry#3: Mint
As the wrapper crinkles, you're blown away by a cool refreshing smell that's pleasing to your senses. The foil crinkles and folds back in uneven edges, catching the light in quick flashes. Inside sits a narrow, pale strip with specks of sparkly blue or green. It is smooth, clean, almost too perfect resting in its sleeve like it’s been waiting.
I grab the strip out of the silver wrapper. It's delicate, fragile, and can break in half on you at any moment if aggressive with it. No fuss, no mess. You can smell the freshness and for a second it makes your nostrils feel chilly. A second later, it sits on your tongue right before your teeth take control. As you chew on it, the sharp coolness catches your taste buds and gives you immediate sensory satisfaction.
As I continue to chew, the coolness fades and what was once a strip is now a ball of mush. As minutes pass by, the flavor diminishes until the mush turns into a dense lump of formless substance. Eventually your interest lags and you want it out of your mouth.
Though the enjoyment is short, the sensation stays with you. It has done its job by cooling and refreshing your breath. It is always helpful to have it on hand during social settings such as a date, meetings, or anytime you are in close quarters with other people. It is also helpful during times that require concentration, such as studying, test taking, or working on a project. It often brings a sense of relief during intimate or stressful situations.

The start of your blog entry is promising, beginning with the smell and sound of the mint you chose to write about. You continue to write in great detail describing how delicate it is and how easy it is to chew on. By the end of your entry, you wrap it up by writing that it has done its job resfreshing your mouth. Also noting that its helpful to have one on standby.
